Upstream, through resistance, we discover who we are.

Trauma is not only about what happened, but how it was held, shaping our capacity to process and the beliefs that form. Healing is an alchemical process: not about erasing or fixing pain, but transforming it. True change begins at the edges; where the unconscious meets awareness, and the Self begins to emerge.

About

"It's never too late to have a happy childhood" -Tom Robbins

Welcome. I’m a trauma-focused therapist, and my path into this work has been shaped by my own experience of swimming upstream. I know what it’s like to feel stuck in pain so deep it feels like it will never end. I also know what it’s like to come out on the other side, with new resiliency, deeper self-awareness, and a clearer sense of purpose. Sometimes, the experiences that challenge us the most are the very ones that shape us into who we’re meant to be. I believe healing unfolds in the relationship; with ourselves, with others and within the safety of the therapeutic space. I do not see healing as a linear process or something to “complete”, but as an ongoing journey of growth, self-awareness, and integration. I mainly utilize trauma-focused therapeutic modalities such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Internal Family Systems (IFS) to support clients in accessing their innate capacity for inner peace and wholeness. These approaches allow us to gently process unresolved trauma, build internal trust, self-regulate and ultimately foster deeper self-awareness. Above all, I strive to create a relationally attuned space where clients feel seen, respected, and empowered to move toward transformation on their own terms. I am also trained in Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART), an evidence-based modality for PTSD, often effective for addressing single-incident traumas and to help shift distressing patterns or unwanted habits. In addition, I am informed in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), which allows me to tailor treatment to each client’s unique needs and goals. Fee schedule is listed below, but may be adjusted on a case-by-case basis to meet your financial needs. Providing access to quality care is my number one priority.
